INTELLISEC was established in 2019 by Frank Flanagan (previous founder and former Director of Crimewatch Security, Wexford). Frank wanted to bring ‘Intelligent’ technology to his Security customers – hence the name; (“INTELLI” being an abbreviation of ‘Intelligent’ and “SEC” an abbreviation of ‘Security’).
With over 35 years’ security experience, Frank is widely known and respected throughout the Security Industry in Ireland. He is also well known locally as the founder & former CEO of ‘Wexford Marinewatch’ – the highly successful Registered Charity he established in 2012 to combat the high rate of Suicide in Wexford (more information on Frank’s personal achievements can be found on our Accreditations Page).
His aim was to provide his customers with Systems that not only utilise the latest modern technology (such as Thermal Cameras, Facial Recognition and ANPR systems), but that also fit around peoples business & lifestyles. Our in-depth knowledge and experience at Intellisec allows us to quickly establish a customer’s needs, identify risk, and help clients reduce or eliminate risk completely. If we don’t have a solution for you, we’ll find one – and if we can’t find one, we’ll make one.
The majority of our business is in the commercial and corporate sectors where we provide specialised custom-designed systems, tailored specifically for our client’s requirements. This could be a Vehicle Recognition system which opens a barrier automatically for staff, Thermal Heat-seeking Cameras to alert of a fire in an Industrial setting, or Facial Recognition cameras that trigger a discreet alert when a ‘known’ shoplifter enters your Store. We can provide a system as basic or as elaborate as you require.
When not on the phone or on the road, Frank can be found either Fishing on a beach somewhere, Cycling some mountain between here and Kerry, or tending to his Beehives producing some fresh golden honey!
