Our Ring doorbell is a smart home device that replaces your traditional doorbell with a Video doorbell with internet connectivity* – allowing you to see and communicate with visitors at your front door, even when you are not at home.
The Ring doorbell features the following:

1. Video Camera: A high-definition camera mounted on the doorbell, which provides a live video feed of visitors and wide-angle views to cover the front porch area.
2. Two-Way Audio: A built-in microphone and speaker allow you to talk to visitors remotely through the Ring app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. This feature is especially useful for answering the door when you’re away.
3. Motion Detection: Ring doorbells have motion sensors that can detect movement near the front door. When motion is detected, the system sends an alert to your mobile device, which will then prompt you to view the live feed or start a two-way conversation.
4. Notifications and Alerts: When a visitor rings the doorbell or if motion is detected, you receive real-time notifications on your mobile device. This can include video clips or images of who is at the door.
5. Cloud Storage**: Many Ring doorbell models offer cloud storage options, allowing recorded footage to be stored for later viewing. You can review videos, download them, or share them as needed.

Sometimes Burglars will ring your bell to see if anyone is home, before proceeding to look in the windows. ‘Unwanted callers’ do not know if you are simply answering the door from upstairs in your home – you might even be in  ‘Australia’ – but as far as they are concerned, you are there there, or in close proximity. This creates a huge uncertainty for them, and is enough to make them go elsewhere.
